Frequently Asked Questions
In order to guarantee the availability of your preferred time and service, we suggest making your appointment 2 weeks in advance for individual services and 4-6 weeks in advance for spa packages. If trying to book Friday through Sunday we suggest you book 4 to 6 weeks in advance.
- Guests must be 18 years of age or older to receive robed spa services and use the guest lounge/locker rooms, outdoor dining and pool facilities.
- Guests aged 16 and 17 may receive salon services, including hair and nail services, on Tuesday through Friday, only when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Guests aged 16 and 17 may dine in the Indoor Spa Café and relax in the gathering room when receiving a salon service, only when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Guests under the age of 18 may not use the lounge/locker rooms, outdoor dining or pool facilities. Lockers are available for guests aged 16 and 17 in the salon only.
- Guests under the age of 16 are not permitted to use the spa.
Our appointments begin promptly on the hour. We recommend arriving 30 minutes early so that you can enjoy an unhurried, stress free check-in and a steam or sauna to help you begin your spa journey
If you are hot and sweaty from your daily workout or just running around town, indulging in a pre-service shower may make your visit all the more relaxing (our technicians would also greatly appreciate it).
For true relaxation, please allocate time during your visit to enjoy one or more of our therapeutic amenities, including steam room, dry sauna, whirlpool and outdoor hydrotherapy pool featuring a waterfall and four therapy grottos. Reminder: don’t forget to bring your bathing suits as they are required for the outdoor pool. These amenities are reserved for spa guests receiving robed services which includes massages, facials and body services and are available from 8:30am to 4:30pm daily.
To serve you best, please inform your reservationist while booking if there are any medical conditions or allergies we need to be made aware of prior to your service.
We always try to anticipate our guest's specific needs; however, we understand that likes and dislikes may vary. We ask you to please communicate openly with your spa technician regarding the firmness of your massage or upgrades to your service(s) to insure the perfect experience. *Please note you must be in your 12 weeks of pregnancy in order to receive a massage. If you have undergone any recent surgeries you must be 6 weeks post-op to receive any robed service.
Individuals with a history of cardiovascular disease, including high blood pressure, should check with their physician before using the sauna, steam room or whirlpool. For health purposes, it is recommended that members and guests limit their combined time to a maximum of fifteen (15) minutes. Please do not pour water on dry sauna rocks or alter temperature settings. State health codes prohibit personal shaving in the steam room, sauna or whirlpool. These amenities are only available to spa guests receiving robed services, which include massages, facials and body services.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your spa appointment, you must do so by 2pm the day before your scheduled service. If you do not cancel or reschedule by 2pm your 50% deposit will be nonrefundable. If you cancel or no show your appointment, your depoist will be nonrefundable.
Please understand that when you forget to cancel your reservation in time, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment with another guest on our waitlist.
To keep your stress level as low as possible, please leave your valuables at home or on you at all times. The Spa at Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
All major credit cards are accepted. You may also charge spa services to your membership or resort account.
When booking your reservation you will be required to put down a 50% deposit in order to reserve your appointment. Your deposit will be applied to your spa day. If you do not cancel your appointment prior to 2pm the day before your scheduled service your depoist will be nonrefundable.
You may remove clothing down to your comfort level. Before and after your treatment, luxurious robes and slippers are provided in lockers in the men's and women's lounges.
Professional draping is performed throughout the duration of the service for privacy. The only body part exposed is the part receiving the body work. All other areas of the body are completely covered by the draping sheet. Our therapists are trained to ensure your comfort and privacy at all times throughout your treatment.
